Thanksgiving Divorce
A man in Phoenix calls his son in New York the day before Thanksgiving and says,”I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough.
“Pop, what are you talking about?” the son screams. We can’t stand the sight of each other any longer,” the father says. “We’re sick of each other, and I’m sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Chicago and tell her.”
Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. “Like heck they’re getting divorced,” she shouts, “I’ll take care of this,”
She calls Phoenix immediately, and screams at her father, “You are NOT getting divorced. Don’t do a single thing until I get there. I’m calling my brother back, and we’ll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don’t do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?” and hangs up.
The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. “Okay,” he says, “they’re coming for Thanksgiving and paying their own way.”
Take the Thanksgiving IQ test!

Hiya C! Thanks for the Thanksgiving humor. I needed some today. I’m blogging back in Blogger again. You’ve already seen it elsewhere, so it’s not original. But it’s good to be back in the blogosphere again.
Have a terrific Thanksgiving! Hugs.
What are you doing up so early on Thanksgiving?? Oh, you must be like me and wake up at the crack of dawn…. Happy Thanksgiving to you my Friend! Eat lots & lots. The average American consumes 10,000 calories today and we wouldn’t want to be the ones to bring down that average now would we????? Cheers~
I certainly did my part to keep up the national average on the chowfest that was Thanksgiving and the ensuing weekend!
Love the divorce story…….I may use this on my kids in the future!
Queen- The divorce story was cute wasn’t it!! My calorie intake, on the other hand, was not so cute! If I never consume another morsel of food ever again…. oh wait, is that cheesecake??? ~nevermind!~
LOL…good one. Hope your Turkey day was a good one…I’m still catching up on blogs
Savant- Thank you for visiting! My T-day was great though I didn’t hit my caloric intake goal of 5000. I get an “A” for effort though
I gave it my best college try!
~BTW-Just dropped by your site and love it! Cheers~
